Hi there! Let me tell you a little about myself. I’m 24 years old, I’m a Cal State Northridge Alumna; my major was Journalism with an emphasis in Broadcast, and my passion is… MAKEUP! It’s funny because a couple of years ago, I had not even the slightest idea that I would ever be a makeup artist because I didn’t even know how to put makeup on myself!
One day I just happened to stumble upon a makeup artist’s Instagram page and I was really impressed with how beautiful her makeup looked, and I noticed that she had a YouTube channel. I started to watch her makeup tutorials, and it was right there and then that I fell in love with makeup! I was hooked! I ended up binge watching all these kinds of makeup tutorials on YouTube, which also led me to discover so many other extremely talented makeup artists on YouTube.
Little by little, I started to put into practice everything I was learning off of all the makeup tutorials I had taken notes from. Little did I know that it would lead me to become a self-taught makeup artist, and to my surprise, it turned into a business for me as a freelance makeup artist.
I LOVE what I do! Nothing else brings me such joy! When I’m putting makeup on myself or on my clients, that’s all I think about-nothing else matters. It’s therapeutic for me and nothing else brings me as much joy when I see how happy my clients get when they love how their makeup came out. I’ve been a freelance makeup artist for two years now, and I only want to get better at what I do! I will always do what I can to grow in my experience, and to go above and beyond my clients’ expectations.
Finally, I just want to say thank you so much to all of my family, friends, and other supporters for always encouraging me to continue to do what I love. I wouldn’t have gotten this far without any of you! I also am thankful to God for opening up the doors and allowing me to have the all opportunities that I’ve had so far! I love you all so much!
